About the release

The Datto RMM 6.6.0 release has many improvements and bug fixes, and features some highly requested items:

  • Filters that are visible can now be inspected by users and edited by Administrators. Refer to Filters.
  • A new job schedule that allows users to schedule jobs to run on first audit makes it much easier to run initial prep tasks on a new device. Refer to Schedule a job.
  • Reports that are scheduled to run immediately can be downloaded from the platform so a user doesn’t have to wait for the email to arrive. Refer to Active and completed reports.
  • New accounts will get a default Audit-only Patch Management policy, as well as two default Monitoring policies. Refer to Default Patch Management policy and Default Monitoring policies.
  • Support Access is now available to all users. Refer to Support Access.
  • Users can create a shortcut to open the Support Request form, making it easier to create a ticket when the tray icon is hidden. Refer to Agent ticketing for end users.
  • Summary widgets now link to corresponding devices for quick troubleshooting. Refer to Site Summary.
  • New Windows Update policy settings to accommodate Windows 10. Refer to Create a Windows Update policy.
